Update

Thanks for liking what I've done to my explorer and i'm honored to hear that I inspired someone.

I've not posted pictures in A LONG time. So here are some updates. The sport up is reflective, so it looks sweet at night. And I actually broke my hitch, so the rear looks naked now. Not running the large bumper currently because it blew out both front wheelbearings.. SO wanting to do a SAS..

These are the brand new tires I picked up for one HECK of a deal.
35x12.50x15 on 15x10 wheels.

Worked some more on my center console setup

Also got an universal gauge pod, and formed it to fit.. just need to paint and add gauges.

I never actually put pictures of this project up.. so I figured I would show it.. i made a fiberglass subwoofer box, will only fit in an explorer, I had two P3 rockford fosgates in it.. and they were crazy LOUD.

I need to finish sanding it and painting it white.

Looks sweet man I love the center console in Orange. It's a nice accent lol. Nd what lift do you have that ur fitting 35's? Oh nd nice flex on a car. Hope it was a Honda :D

I really like how its come out, from the paint to the engine to the tires, etc. it is a really nice looking explorer!

Thank you... I have probably only 2.5" in suspension, just with a torsion twist and shackle lift in the rear, along with 4dr. leaf pack.
The car unfortunately was a buick, not a honda.

Finally almost have my front end problems worked out.. I replaced the driverside upper and lower balljoints, and I had replaced both wheelbearings a couple months back. I adjusted out both driver and passenger side camber out to counteract the lean.
The only real way that I'm going to fix the problem is hopefully next spring I'll be solid axle swapping it.

Passenger side still has a shot lower balljoint, but it'll get replaced next weekend.

ahh what a shame. how much did it all cost???

For just the driverside, would've been about 125, but since I work for advance auto parts, I get a 20 percent off, so right around 85 bucks. Passengerside upper is the most expensive, lowers are identical.

ohh sweet mann. thats not too bad.

Nope, besides trying to save money to do a solid axle swap, and it sucks having to stick money where you're wanting to replace it entirely. XP But it has to get me through winter.

i gotcha il prob lift my truck and all that after the winter.

Wait... I think I see my service manuals in this pic!

In this pic?? No, they are in a safe spot.. When do you want them back?? Or how much would you like for them??

Nah- just hassling... :)

Possession is 90% of the law, and gas is expensive. Consider them a contribution to the saga known as Orangploder...

Really? You're just going to give them to me? Well, THANKS A TON Joe. I will use them as much as possible.. lol

Oh, and my buddies and I are trying to come up with a better name for my explorer... I get SO many people calling it a bronco, so we came up with "Retro Bronco".

Well 5 years of slow progress. It's sitting on its own weight. 9" rear. D44 front. 16" coilovers bottomed out. But it's sitting on its own weight. 38"s in the back. Rollers for the front are 35s. Ideally want to be on 37s. 3 link with track bar in the front.
