Can't access the search from my phone, but having issues with cold starts suddenly

So i just jumped back into the Explorer game, replacing my old 5.0 with a SOHC 4.0 and after a week am having some issues with cold starts, seemingly random misfires, and a CEL I can't check yet. From the little i know of this engine I'm suspect of intake gasket failures. It runs rough and stalls until it warms up. Almost like a bad vacuum leak that i can't find so. Any thoughts or tips before i spend money? Thanks folks.

I think you answered your own question - vacuum leaks.

Also, if the fuel pump is almost dead it will fail when it's very cold, trying kicking the fuel tank.
