the parts dont come welded. They fit together like a puzzle and then you weld them yourself. Plasma is cheaper then laser and is why ballistic is close to half the price of othe shops for similar brackets.

oh ok i see you could still clean it up some your self

Ok so i called my buddy, Henry at Ponce fabworks. He has these in his shop. Do you guys think they will be to long for crawling around rocks and stuff.

Are you going to try to link that 79 d44? If you are your're going to have trouble as you can't remove the wedges, there is no axle tube inside there. I've seen some work arounds but if your budget is as high as you say...sell the d44 and get a d60, by the time you have built the d44 you'll have spent the same if not more for a stock d60 which can be taken to a whole new level of strenght.

Oh sorry these are for the rear.

OOOOOHHHHHHH ok, sorry about that! I agree with froader though on those arms they are nice...but more for prerunning it looks. I'd link it if I wanted to be fancy...for ease and very good performance a set of good leaves such as deavers.

Chris, those trailing arms would suck for rock crawling. they'll hang way too low and hit anything and everything you go over.

I thought that to, just wanted to get an opinion on this idea. I am going to have him make my radius arms though, with a similar design. Kind of like the ones steves running.

igot a questoin what do yall think would be the best for my openrearend i want either a posi or a locker in it

sorry chris dont mean to step on your thread like that....

Those Cage arms are real nice how they kick in so the tires don't rub.

It’s going to be linked for sure! I want to do this one time and one time only. Because the wife is pissed about his build, she thinks I am spending too much $$$ on a truck with 150 Garr miles on it. My wife gets everything she has ever wanted why can’t I do what I want! Sorry rant over!

Hey stic-o I know your RA's were on Michaels X my ? is who made them and how long are they.

hehehe i understand that...deffinitly LOL

It'll be cool when finished :D

Not sure what you mean there. With heims on the end of them you'll they'll go just about as far as you want them to.

Sorry Colin i had brain freeze there going to look like stic-o's but with the holes in them thats all.

They are either BC Bronco's or Bronco Graveyards radius arms for an early bronco. I can't remember which company they came from. They were then cut and modified to mount outside the frame instead of under it for more ground clearance. I don't remember what the length was on them, but they ended up landing just behind the trans crossmember with the axle pushed forward about an inch.

The Cage ones are really cool though. If they had been available when I did that swap I would have used them instead.

They are 48" long, they now end up in line with the t-case. and my axle was moved about 4" up.
