Clamp on Style Roof Rack light (Look)

Thought this was a pretty neat alternative for those of you who dont want to permanetly mount lights to the top of your new explorer.
you could obviously mount a couple and permanetly run the wire, then just unclip when not in use.

that is an interesting idea... i wouldnt put them on facing out like that, theyd be inboard of the roof racks if i used them

this is exactly what im looking for, im thinking about ordering them but im trying to find them somewhere else. i dont really trust ebay and especially if the seller is in another country. anyone find them here in the states?

Looking at the lights, I dont think they would be worth any price, except free.
They look like they would illuminate about as far as factory fogs do. Not much.

If you want some lights to light up the sides or rear of your X they would probably be OK. The wires comming off them are thin and dont inspire much confidence in them lasting more than 9 mos. or so.

another option is to get another roof cross bar and mount lights to it. I did this, simply drill a hole then used bolt and nut, easy to remove and isnt permanent
