I got some great results from this. I recently cleaned my MAF and Throttle body, and the improvments are great.
I make trips from delaware to pennsylvania a couple times a month. It used to be that I would use about a 1/4 tank to get to Pennsylvania, be down to half before I was ready to return to Delaware and have to stop and fill up when I got just into Delaware. Since cleaning both, I made it all the way home and had not hit 3/4. Also, I made it all the way back into Dover and when my tank hit 1/4 I had gone 210 miles. This is a huge improvement (I actually still havent filled up, and have been driving back and forth to work!)
Also, I should mention that when I was on about half a tank, I was sitting at a red light and when I looked over this guy in an Infiniti G35 decided to rev his engine at me. I let it go because I was out with my girl, but then he decided to full on drag racing launch his car off the line. So, I proceeded to put my pedal about half way down and blow him away. From 0-60 I left him about three car lengths back. So, I slowed back down to 50mph (speed limit) and about 15 seconds later he came flying past haha. This led to my girl saying "damn your truck can get it!"
So, even with some less than MPG saving driving during the current tank I have gotten much improved gas mileage from cleaning the MAF and Throttle body.
