I was reading and doing research and found a site on here to do the custom emblems. I was amazed how easy it was actually.
1. Use blow drier to heat up the front clear side of the emblem (imagine the clear is like a layer of blue goo).
2. Use sharp object to dig the clear out start away from any chrome. once you get it started if you heated it up enough it will come off in a rubber clump.
3. Clean the chrome surface up as the blue comes off with the clear layer and tape off everything you want to stay chrome.

4. They advised using chapstick or a crayon I used the chapstick and rub it on the face of the ford lettering to keep the paint from sticking to it.

5. Paint the emblem the color you want

6. The last step is to use a chemical epoxy called Envirotec epoxy it is avalible at Hobby Lobby, Target and on line for about 10.00 you need 1.5 ounces of it for two emblems front and back. Mix it acording to instructions and slowly fill the face to include the grove around the face. Let it sit and after 12 hours you can form it to how you like and after 24 hours they say you can even sand it I havent done that.
