to anyone who has been running war153's for more then a few month's

did you notice any new driveline vibration after the install?

do you go thru alot of rear u-joint's?

did you know that warrior shackles result in a 3* pinion angle change?

whats a 3* pionion angel

when u install the new shackles it points the pinion of your rear diff up about 3*

this is just a survey to see if anyone has had problems with the t-case and pinion being +-3* out of sync

but so far nobody has said anything bad

feel free to add your .02

Well I am looking to add the warrior 153s to my ex. Should I shim the axle to correct the pinion angle?? accually shiming it down?

Tim

not going from what everyone so far has posted.....

i tipped my pinion up 2* when i did my rear spring perches and now with the warrior's i think i need shim's... 5* out of sync is probably not a good thing

i think the new angle has helped "cure" my vibration problem.

I've got the first set ever made and have put about 130,000 miles on them. They have caused absolutely no problems of any kind. My first rear U-joint lasted 95,000 miles which is not too bad considering what I put it through (mrboyle helped me change it at Moab one year when it started vibrating and whining during a run).

no, no, and I do now... I've had my warriors on for 1.5 yrs with Zero problems. At the same time I installed them I replaced all 8 U-joints and all 4 ball - joints :)

didn't even notice it...

I have had the war-153s on for 150k miles... I am about to change the u-joints for the 2nd time (truck has 314k miles on it)...

I do know that some of the early war-153s came with 13mm, not 14mm holes/bolts.. The spring eye bushing is actually for a 14mm bolt.. If you didn't drill out you rearly war-153 and put in the right size bolt you could get some new vibrations ( didn't on mine)

never had any problems with my warriors on my explorer

didnt realize about the shackles and pinion angle though... my yota is totally in trouble.... i have 2" lift shackles plus about 2" more lift due to an add-a-leaf.... and the yota doenst have a slip shaft on the driveshaft...... not to mention the fact my truck runs 31s that are 6" larger than stock and on 3.07 rear end gears
