Cruising along Thursday at 70MPH on I79 in WV, our Ex rolled to a stop. Engine quit. Crank, no start. Suit and tie go to funeral clothes, no tools. Auto club tow truck an hour away. Friendly WV Dept of Hwys lady knew of a Ford dealership one exit away. Called, no slot till Valentines day, referred me to another who was similarly tied up. On and on till I got to Mike. Said tow it in. Diagnostic said no fuel pressure. Order fuel pump. "Maybe tomorrow". Droves us to the local Microtel. Called me in the morning with the news that it was not a fuel pump but ......... the infamous inertial fuel cutoff switch. Not even a chuck hole to set it off. Still, only $70 for the diagnosis time is better than $500 for a fuel pump replacement.

Came to a stop at MP 63 on I79. Mike's Auto Repair in Sutton at Exit 62 is where we were towed to.
