Seems like this would be the best section for this...
I'm replacing the muffler on my Bronco II 2.9L (have a Magnaflow for it) and I'm wondering exactly what the stock resonator thing on it does (at least I think that's what it's called... it's like a 2nd smaller muffler immediately after the main muffler). Guessing this can be eliminated... But will it become real loud? (I don't mind a little louder than stock, infact I'm expecting it being a little throatier with the Magnaflow, but I don't want it deafening, or having it sound all snappy or "ricey" when I get on it).
I've been told a small glasspack can be substituted for the resonator part as well. Good idea?
Appreciate any info.
Thanks guys.
