Explorer Lowered

I've got a 93 Xplorer, and want to slam it, but don't want to have to swich the chassis from 4wheel drive to 2wheel drive in order to do it, is there any other way?

lowering yes, SLAMMED NO!!! the diff will contact the engine if you try to go much more than a few inches....
