I wonder what rimsize and offset i need to fit my 33x14,5x15" tires on my stock Explorer Xlt? I am going to do the torsion twist as well and some cutting in the trim if necessery.

Im running 265/75/16s with 4" of offset and still rub on the sway bar on max turn. Front bumper was easy to trim to not rub. Those 14.5w seem like a bit of a squeeze.

I would guess a 12" rim would be best, but a 10" would work. 10" would be 4.5" less than the tire, and that's the same difference I run on my truck, a 12.5" wide tire on an 8" rim.
I would think keeping the backspace in the 4" range would be best if you want to be able to turn the wheels. So on a 10" rim, that would be a 1" offset.

I hate when folks give out their "2 cents" on something but here I go.....
Im not even sure a 14.5" wide tire would be able to turn full lock without some crazy rubbing.

I'm running 285/75/16's (33's) on my '97 5.0L and to me it looks good and rides fine.
