Fly wheel woe's

Hey forders, I have a 1992 Eddie Bauar 4x4 explorer. This wilkl be my fourth fly wheel change. I was told bad thrust bearing by the $65.00 an hour people. after the third I had the motor and trans changed. Now I have the same haunt. I was also told that Ford might make a heavy duty flywheel is this true. any thoughts???? Keith.

What problems are you having when its driving??
new engine and transmission fora bad flywheel? Did they use the same flywheel again?

Nope four new fly wheels

Hi the flywheels were not reusable, 2 had the centers broke out at the bolt pattern. 1 broke in three pieces. I haven't looked at the fourth I am pulling it out this weekend. No ane can tell me why I had a Mr A1 ford master mechanic check it out and he said ev erything was in line. the motor and trans change were junk yard exchange.

You are not the only ione, the early flywheels did this, Ford has an updated part for like $40....
