Thats because the g50's are setup for a SOA application. Im very curious to see how his springs perform as it might be a viable option instead of the deavers.

I just wrote my fab guy an email saying I'm pulling my truck next friday and to do as much work as possible. I'm getting so antsy not having it done, and I was way to laid back trying to be the "take your time" easy going customer. an exo cage and full tube buggy have been built while my ride has sat right next to them being pushed to the side.

Yeah that seems to happen alot with fab shops. Sometimes you gotta take the agressive stance to get the work done timely.

we will see, I've paid in advance on every leg of the job, he had $1000 given to him for credit of work to do since Feb 19 and he still isn't there. I still like the guy and he does good work, I just think the other guys made deadlines or something like pressured the guy to get work done. I'm sorry to say but he's getting paid all the money he told me it would cost and more, I've gotten a few more things tweaked just to my liking but I'm not jerking him around and trying to make it hard on the guy. I just hate to be the demanding customer, I've delt with way too many in the past.

I agree Sean, that's why when you watch those TV shows like OCC or Boyd you see deadlines and @sshole bosses. Managers and sales guys don't make the world go around, they make it go around faster, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse.

I was totally making that up, but that's some crazy looking stuff you got going on there. I haven't even touched the valving on mine yet due to the fact that they were arlready run on a truck so I'm going to use that valving and hope it's in my specs.

so what is going to keep those bump cans from pushing out the top? I know a bolt sandwiches them together, but I'm thining about how you and I drive and they will get pushed up, doesn't one brand have a lip around the top of their can?

*and sorry to sound like I'm jealous or hatin on your build in most of my posts, it's really hard to see from the pics and I am just trying to point out the stuff that I've had trouble with or seen trouble from other builds. I'm super stoked for you and can't wait to see this.


It's all looking good, my only concern would be
1. is that lower tab going to be able to take the abuse of holding up your entire truck (I say YES, especially the driver's side with the notch around the truss)
2. is the bump can going to slide up?

Otherwise your truck got REALLY custom in the last few weeks. I'd say you got a shot of a feature truck if you update your registry and take some good quality photos in the right light.

i had the same thought as you do danny, about bumpstops. i thought there was no way one or two pinch bolts would hold the whole car on jumps. it confused me how the prerunner guys were doing it. there's a ring around them that the can sits against. its like a snap ring with a little groov on the bump stop that it sits in. on ours (f-o-a) there's three spots you can put the stop ring for adjusting. king bump stops have a full top on their bump cans, so there's no way it would come out (kings are also $275 each )

i think the tabs will hold. if not i'll find out at truckhaven and my friend nate said he's bringin his welder so im alll gooooooooood.

awwww yes. "update" my registry? i think you mean make a registry to start with

i never got around to making an actual registry, it was something i always put off cause i wanted to do "one more thing" before i take good pics of it. have no fear, i'll make a registry once im home from mobbing, crawling, and haulin in truckaroo haven


(p.s. make sure to swith the polarity on your welder when your using flux core. it was fun trying to weld with it set up for mig but without a bottle, but thank god somebody told me i need to switch the wires hahaha)
