So if my xfer case is 2.48:1 in low range and my doubler is 2.48:1 and my gears are 4:56.

How do I figure the total ground ratio? is it (2.48 X 2.48) x (56/4)

Which is 86.1056:1 ?

This website will take the headache out of it. It's even got your transmission and transfer case in the drop down. You might have to enter the doubler in manually. The drop down should also have your gears.

Almost. Your gears are 4.56, not 4:56, it is actually 4.56:1

But you had the right idea:
2.48 x 2.48 x 4.56 x 1st gear ratio = your crawl ratio.
IIRC 1st on a 5 speed is somewhere around 3.2:1, if it was exactly 3.2 then crawl ratio would equal 89.75 (2.48 x 2.48 x 4.56 x 3.2 = 89.75).

M5OD 1st gear is 3.40:1.

3.40 × 2.48 × 2.48 × 4.56 = 95.3558:1 crawl ratio.
