Gen 1 version 2.0 build

It's not always the big things, nice simple hold down I made for a upgraded battery.

To answer the question about the vinyl floor
If you can find a sport or sport trac vinyl floor it will work in your 4 door gen i yes! It goes right up to under the back seat. We have a couple of 4 doors here w the “rubber floor”
I also put one in my bii

I love this build!

Time for a few winter upgrades, never been happy with the ride quality of the Sport Trac springs with add a leaf's, also have a rear locker on order. $500 for a pair of ARM/OME 1.5" springs with free shipping seemed like a good deal.

A few updates seem due :) Been working on one of my Early Bronco's for a bit but it's back on the road so it's time for a little Explorer love! ARB springs in and they work great!! I cut the rockers off, they had more rust than you would think and built some sliders out of 2"x 4" 3/16" wall tubing and tied it into the frame with 2"x 2"x 3/16" kind of a PITA with the way the Explorer frame is but the one side I have done looks good! I left the front a little short because I plan on trimming the front fenders a bit also.

Went to work to use a lift since I had to drop the fuel tank to install the left side rock ski, always love a good TTB droop picture! :)

Nice setup! Duratracs are some of the best tires I have ever run in the dirt snow and ice they really perform in the winter

They've served me well, have a set on my F150 as well. I do have a little chunking on the Explorers Duratracs but spinning tires and sharp Black Hills granite is hard on tires.

I think that it needs to see some more NV desert. Lucky for you, I know just the guys who can help with that. :)

A few updates, set up a dual battery system and built a spare tire mount. I'm still planning on building a rear bumper this winter but decided that I didn't want a tire hanging off the rear of the Explorer.
