What do I need to know before ordering them. Won't have the money for about 3 or 4 more weeks but is there any discounts availiable for them. Also anything else I might need to know. My vehicle is a 2000 XLT AWD 5.0. Flowmaster and a MAC Cool air intake. Thanks!!!

Buy a Trick Flow phenolic manifold spacer. Removing the upper intake manifold will ease the installation of the headers, make the EGR tube easier to bend to make fit, offers additional torque gains. Click the "my writeups" link in my signature, there is a write up on the install for the headers and the intake spacer.

EF members get a discount on TMH's.

You know how much of a discount? Thanks where can I found where to get a trick flow phenolic manifold spacer?

Thanks a ton. I appreciate this, I'm gonna have to talk to JTSmith as he's offering to help install these once I get them. I need to make sure if he's still willing to.

When ordering the headers, where will I find the discount that I'm an Explorer forum member?

good luck tek and keep up the good work

Thank you. I wouldn't say keep up the hard work lol. Im not mechanically inclined, I've had others help on everything I just purchase all the stuff I've done. This forum has helped a ton though.

damn i wish i could find people to help install my headers they been sitting in the box for over a month haha

If you are up for the drive-I know i have the needed tools.
I'll show you it ain't no big deal. Just a bit of time and patience.

so how much will this help 0-60 times??

I picked up 4 tenths of a second in the quarter mile if that helps you.

yes that does help alot because I'm actually taking my Explorer to the track for the first time this spring and thats more important. One more question, was ur 1/4 time with or without the spare tire??

With the spare, and anything else that was bolted down. I took out all of my extra tools and stuff, but left everything from the factory. I wish I would have dropped a little weight on my last trip though to get it into the 15's, since it'll probably never be fast enough to do that again.

ahh really? Why not? Well I haven't had the spare put on since before I had to use it for a month and a half. Its sitting in a back bed room. Is it realistic to run 15's. I also use Royale Purple full Synthetic and probably will do another change in about a month or so..

Ok so I've e-mailed and PM'd Bob , several days ago and I still haven't gotten a reply yet? I really want to get these headers ordered this weekend:(
