Jeremy, there is a good chance I'll be there on Sunday. I want to watch the rock crawling contest, I know a few guys who are competing.

I will be there.
See ya Sunday, I have a few questions for you so look for the Extra Large white Guy!

Here are a couple photos I took today. You better put on your sunglasses!

Believe it or not it will be ready for the Truck Nationals by Saturday Morning.

Perry, I know you're like no way, but, they have a whole crew on it. Besides the front clip being painted the doors are painted inside and out. The body was undergoing final prep before paint this morning at 9:00am. The boss over there is pushing to get it in the truck show. He's putting his name "Extreme paint and Body" on the rear side windows and wants the exposure for his business. They are also going to paint the chassis black to accent the orange paint.

I may not get the truck into my hands until Friday morning which will put me in a rush. If any Phoenix area locals would like to give me a hand getting it ready for the show, I would appreciate it and be glad to pop for your admission for a day at the Truckin' Nationals.

Dang that thing looks good without the doors and other missing body panels. Hmm.... :D Rick since your gonna be in a show are or have your replaced that glove box yet? :) Since the interior should look as good as the extiour?

Rick - WHOA! That's... ORANGE!!!

AWESOME !!!

You know my e-mail, I would be glad to come help.
I can get off of work at 4:00 on Friday and help you Saturday till 1:00. ASUs kick off is at 3:30
I know my truck is not as pretty as yours but maybe we could make Explorers show up as a group.

Rick Now Im really jealous. I love that color! You are going to want that to be your daily driver again just to see everyone looking at it! Love the color choice. I am thinking about getting my painted mustang yellow, but first a 2wd to 4wd conversion is next (probably w/ solid axle. Hey rick another thing I noticed. I dont know how you feel about these but I think that some clear lenses all the way around would look awesome on that color. You cant have the red tail lamps back in the back on that color. What do you think?>

Jeremy, here is the address for the registration form for the show n shine. You need to fax this to them asap, if you want to enter your truck.

BTW, did you used to play for ASU? I hate to admit it, but I don't follow sports very much. However your name seemed very familiar when I first heard it.

Wow!
Last year there was just a bunch of Jeepers sitting around with there trucks. My truck is a big mess, I dont really want it in the show and shine. I am doing the stereo in it and it has no interior door panels or trim. Its not pretty.
I will pass.

Yes, I was on the team at ASU from 93-96. I dont miss any games so we will make sure your truck is done in time for me to clean up and make Kick Off.

I know what you mean. You are probably reffering to the Rock Crawling guys who competed in the obstacle course. I'm not going to be over there, my truck will be up and to the left as you walk in the track, right next to the lake. I'm entering mine in show and shine since it will never look this good again :D

I'm not going to be hanging around my truck to much though, I plan on being where the action is! Watching the rock crawlers.

Why don't you e-mail me with your phone number, I no longer have it.

You got it!

HELP

Rick,
If you are going to get it back by the weekend they better have a LOT of people working on it. It does look good. I'm not much into Orange, but it will look sharp.
Looks like a lot of work still ahead of them. At least they are doing it right and taking everything apart.

He does have a lot of guys on it and he's working them overtime as well. It would be a relief to me if they DIDN'T get it done by the weekend. Then I wouldn't have to enter it in the show. I'm going to the show more for his sake than for myself. This will be my first and last show and shine. If I make it to the show I'll defintaly have photos of it there to put on the web Saturday night.

Rick, I have got to say that that color kicks ass!! I love it. You NEED to get on the cover of a magazine and get the feature in one. Too bad you don't have a black interior, cause then you could "accent" some of the trim and stuff on the interior, now that would look awesome. Although, it may not look all that bad w/ tan interior (I am assuming thats what you have)Kinda like that Excursion that was green and stuff like that, and on the inside the door trim, and the dash trim was color matched, oh and the tv screens were color matched. I am sure you saw it at SEMA last year, cause I talked to the guy when he was here in TN @ the Hunter's Custom Auto Show, and he said he barley got it done in time to have it at SEMA. Well, anyways, I love the color, it looks great.

Rick, if you don't mind me asking what was the total damage ($$$)for the paint job? Lookin'great so far.
