What all waterproffing had to be done inside, and in the engine and fuel tank? I would imagine some problems there, however I dont think I would be ballsy enough to take my explorer through water like that... Cool pics though man, gives me something to shoot for!~

found the hole, only had 2wd, went in and i felt the rear axle lift up and i lost traction and it sank, engine stayed runing entire time i was waiting to get pulled out, i got pulled out and let the water out then picked a different line and went back in with the same result........only damage i have really found is my clutch is a little weak (i think i got some stuff in the pressureplate holding it off a little, and i think i got a fuel pump relay wet....other then some stinky seats all good to go
this is my 4th? time being in water that deep, full height snorkel relocated pcm and all breathers and alot of dielectric grease pigtails and a few other things

I've been through that hole... This is the closes I've ever gotten to the center:
I've now got a rotten driver's door (and I'm convinced it's because of that trip)
I've seen more than a few trucks disappear in that hole and others out there. I love dragging their poor, soggy, wet souls out of the puddles (especially when they're jeeps!).
My favorite one was when my buddy with is 3/4 ton Dodge went through a puddle down at the north end of the beach a couple years ago. The water washed up on his hood (washed, not splashed) and he had to turn his wipers on. His sister behind him in her wrangler didn't fare quite as well LOL!!
