hate that spiral dipstick

maybe loathe is the word to best describe how i feel about the spiral oil dipstick in my 5.0L. are there any dipsticks out of other years/models that will work in place of the stock dipstick in a 97 5.0L? just curious if anyone else has changed this out.

I did-with a ford motorsports blingy stick. It worked ok, however it got so hot I switched back
