So would anyone know where I could possibly find one and buy it? Or would I have to go with like a 2" body and 3" suspension?

I wanna fit a set of 33x12.5 on there without having any rubbing :-p

ANY ideas are useful! thanks! :)

4" Superlift or Trailmaster or 5" RCD for the front. SOA the rear or buy Superlift 4" leaf springs. 33's with no rubbing.

Try browsing the lift section or the wheels and tires section- its all on here.

Why set a lift goal based on desired tire size?

2" torsion twist and 3" body lift.

Ok, I think I found the right body lift, what exactly is a torsion twist? I'll look into it!

thanks! :)

Oh and shackles. :)

Here is the torsion bar thread. http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47345

Oh yes yes, Good.

Literally right after I posted my reply before this one, I found an article in the main site about this, but it didn't include pictures of under the explorer its self, thanks for the link!

what exactly is a shackle? could you maybe link me to some reliable ones!?

sorry for the stupid questions, I'm kinda learning as I go lol

hehehe

I clear 33x12.50 AT's on my 96 with a 2" torsion twist, warrior rear shackles and 3" body lift.
Some trimming required

The wheels you use will have alot to do with clearing the tires, as will the tire itself (not all 33's are actually 33")

OK good, the tires I bought are definitely huge and they'll look absolutely awesome, once I can get the money for the lift, I think I can easily to the torsion twist, I just looked under my truck and found the bolts.. I tighten them right?

I couldent seem to find the factory shackles though.. are they in the middle of the truck (in front of the rear tires) or the back of the truck (behind the rear tires) or right smack dab in above the rear tire?

Shackles connect the rear of the leaf springs to the frame, so behind the tires.

OK, awesome, I thought those were it lol

ALSO ----

I went out and bought some jack stands and liquid wrench earlier and tightened my tension bars, but I could only get like 3/4 of an inch lift off of a bunch of rotations of the socket (like maybe 5-7), I didnt know if I tightened it enough or not enough, I just dont wanna break something ya know?

thanks for the help!
