Hi everyone, serious question

the hatch on my explorer is rattling like crazy. I have adjusted everything that I can think of. Does anybody else have this problem.

Were exactly is the rattle coming from? Inside, outside...? It might also be possible that something fell down inside the hatch and is sitting there rattling...

Dont mark my words on this but I think the hatch on the Explorers are two stage. Meaning two clicks on the latches for fully closed.
Make sure both sides are clikcing twice.

Could it be the rear "glass" rattling at it's latch?

if its the outside ans its a t-handle then just wrap a twst tie around it and make sure its between where the two parts meet

The plug came out of the top of the door, I don't know what the hole the plug filled is for. Anyway my daugher was playing inside the EX while I was giving it a bath. now I have a rattle inside the hatch. I have no idea what she dropped down the hole beside the latch for the glass. I guess I will get frisky and remove the panel and find/remove whatever she dropped down the hole someday. Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll be valuable, by the way in our household washing cars is like doing laundry, whoever is doing it gets to keep the money found in the clothing/car.
