Hmm cleanin the MAF?

Well I was reading on the apten site and they were saying reoiling of K&N filters can mess up MAS. They said to use electectrical contact cleaner to clean it. How exactly do I clean the MAS with electrical cleaner.

thanks man. That place says to use 02 safe carb cleaner and apten says to use electrical connector cleaner. Does it matter or does it both do the same thing

Either one should work well.

thanks a lot man. Ever since i reoiled my k&n filter my gas milage went to **** and i wondered what it was. I first thought i oiled the filter wrong and did it again and it still dont work. Now i know why

You can also use a q-tip and alcohol.
just be gental.

Don't use a Q-tip, just spray and let it air dry, the cleaners are designed to air dry.

A Q-tip will leave fibers on the MAF sensor element.
