Hood Scoop From Explorer Express!

I wish i would have know to measure the darn thing before i went drill happy.

As long as the holes are away from the edge of the scoop, I'd think you could still get screws in. Its a soft material, and i know my pilot holes were only 1/8" deep anyway. You could even drill new pilot holes before putting scews in.

Even if just a little bit? I had an old crap car that overheated all the time so now I have this kind of weird fixation with nice, normal temperature engines....
A hole in the hood won't fix your overheating problem. At the most it will lower your underhood temperature by a few degrees. Aside from all that, it'll look cooler when you walk up in front of your truck and see a shiny engine bay. :cool:
