How many miles?

'01 Sport 4x4 ~107,000 miles.

Old engine rebuilt 2x. Needed timing chains/tensioners again, but replaced whole engine this time since it was burning oil too. New engine has ~4000 miles, 12 of those miles in my truck. No more rattles or squeals. Just put the hood back on the truck last night, so I can start driving it again.

Trans was rebuilt 3x under warranty and now 2x by me. Got tired of just fixing the symptoms and having the problems come back 10k miles later. Just gutted the trans this time and replaced everything while the engine was out. "New" trans has 12 miles so far.

Also this year:
both front hubs,
Torsen rear diff,
new rear axle shafts & bearings,
Brake rotors and pads (all)
new alt, tensioner, idler, and belt too.

Should be awhile before it needs anything else. I'm guessing ball joints or front axle shafts are next.

Edit:Tenikiwon's post reminded me....Mine hasn't had stock size tires since 30k miles, so actual mileage should be higher. Had 32s then 33s with stock gears.

'97 XLT Tranny went at 180k on the ODO, estimated 200k with the adjustment for tire size.

Ran 33s with stock 3.73s since 96k. Ran Amsoil with a K&N oil filter for most of the miles.

99 V6 OHV XLS 4X4. 123,000 miles. Original owner.

Most popular vehicle in the family fleet. Preferred by my wife over her SRX and by my son over his Eldorado (unless he is going on a date). It doesn't have the performance or creature comforts of the Cadillacs (e.g. heated seats, Bose stereo, plush ride); but, it is easier to drive (e.g. great visibility, simple controls) and has easy access to open storage space. I hope the X lasts for another 10 years.

1998 5.0 XLT shes running strong with 190,000 miles orignal tranny/motor.

1998 5.0 AWD Eddie Bauer

-84k on dash -low miles :D !

Bought a year and a half ago not sure what was done to it before but..

-Replaced air ride with regular shocks due to leak

-Idler pully bearing

-Front drivers side wheel bearing

- 2 O2 sensors so i could pass inspection

- Windshield wiper transmission (rusted out and fell apart in a snow storm on highway!)

- Replaced dash lights

-I have the dreaded blend door problem, but i deal with just heat in the winter and open windows in the summer. not bad.

Alot of little annoying problems like the drivers door lock is starting to stick and this door wont open, window lock has a loose connection or something so my passengers can sometimes use the windows (doesnt effect me though lol). But easy fixes once the weather warms up.

Plan on changing the plugs and wires, and tranny fluid soon.

the 302 V8 runs and sounds like a beast. Love the deep throaty sound of my v8! fav part about the truck lol.

96 xlt 4.0 201000 only usual maintence.

92' Eddie Bauer
239k,

Needs-
-Paint
-Rockers
-Right fender (ice, WOOPS lol)
-Headlights (doesnt NEED, but theyre kinda foggy, im getting all clears)
-Exhaust
-Air Filter (last replaced at 130k its nasty)

(delete this post, acc. doubled it) sorry!
