Finally some pictures...

Heres a few more pictures taken with a real camera. And a shot of the front of her car. This was the first time I saw the front of her car, as I didn't look at it on the scene.

In the one picture you can see where my rocker panel is dented. That is probably the worst of the body damage that I can see. I'd love to crawl under it to check it out, but I'll save that for tomorrow. I really want to see how my shock mounts held up. Well, its up to the insurance companies now to decide what to do with it. Oh yeah... I think I won...

wow! so did she just like run straight into your wheel? It looks fixable but then again .. it would be pretty bad underneath!

Call me dumb but I aint seeing how her hitting your passenger door threw your rear like it did, or was it just the impact at w/e speed she was going that did it? Looks like your tires must not have suffered any damage that they're still inflated.

i was driving though an intersection where I had the right of way, no stop sign or anything. She was at a stop sign, and pulled out into me. With my momentum pushing me forward, her front end caught my wheel as I moving forward, thus ripping it out like it did. I'm not sure how screwed that wheel is now, whether its bent or not, but it is still holding air, well, was lastnight at least. I'm kinda getting frustrated and annoyed that I don't have a vehicle to drive at the moment. I'm working on getting a rental, but I have to leave by 1:30 for work and its almost 11 now. I'm not sure if my back tire went over her front end or it it just broke the spring, and scraped the front end. If it scraped it, the tire could have all kinds of scratches and other defects in the sidewall and tread.

They are saying I'm covered for $30 for 30 days, but $30 don't get me far and I really don't want to drive an econobox around... Her policy should kick in and get me rolling here... I wonder if they even called it in yet. I just want some wheels again...

Happened in Penndel on Hulmeville road just across the railroad tracks. Oh yeah.. My rental.. its a 2008 Chevy Silverado 4x4 crew cab short bed 4.8. Got some get up and go, but its all top end. Once it shifts out of first it stumbles til the RPMs climb again. Not a bad truck, just not a fan of the dash layout, and getting used to the size of it took about an hour or so in the seat, but its easy to drive, I think atleast..

Ahh so in the area of the biblical college? My buddy got in an accident a few weeks ago in that area around that shop that has the blown corvette. The street that has to yeld to oncoming traffic had someone that did not yeild and he got hit the same way by a rice burner civic.

Got a call from the insurance today, total loss... I am getting over $4200 for it, plus tax and title transfer. That will give me a nice down payment. On the upside, the shock mounts I made for it that bolted to the sway bar mounts, held up, still together and look good. Guess my welds aren't that bad...

The new explorers are nice, but I have heard of some issues with them. I'm trying to keep it in the Ford family, but it all depends on what I get a great deal on. It probably is fixable, but I want to take the chance and do something I was going to do in a few months and get a better payment out of it.

My dad is urging me to go brand new since the rates will be lower and I can probably haggle the price a little more. He mentioned the Nissan Frontiers, which I had almost forgotten about. I test drove the older style a few years ago and liked it, and I can get one pretty well equipped for a decent price. But I am off to clean out my ex, maybe stop by a dealer quick.

I know when I totalled my old sport I loved that thing and ticked me off they totaled it, it was fixable but hell the way the laws are in this state I heard that it could be pretty hard for it to pass for a reconstructed title and just wouldn't have paid me to try. If you still plan on wheelin, I don't think that I'd go for one of them brand new ex's.
