I have had the parts for over two months now, but haven't had the time to install them, untill today.
Here are some shots of my '92 both before and after the F-150 spacers and shackles.

HEHEHEHE Cool bFly!! I don't think PhotoPoint is letting you do anything unless you pay. Sorry. Email me the pics if you want and I'll upload them to Fototime if you want

I think I got it to work If not I'll send you the photos.

they work for me. it looks good, but you should take a picture of it next to a stock height explorer.

How much of a lift did you get off of that?

shackles

Just got my shackles in today...how long did it take you to install them?

Leenjen- As soon as I find the twin to mine that runs around town I'll post another shot of them together.

FitzMatt- I need to measure the difference to know exactly, but it looks like I gained at least 1.5" to 1.75".

Fantasymon- The entire job took just under two hours (I still havent aligned it though). The shackles took less than thirty minutes (with air tools and a lift). I was actually suprized at how easily they came off considering my X has 180K on it. With hand tools and jack stands it shouldn't take more than an hour.

looks good. Now slap a body lift and some 32's or 33's.That will make it stand out alot more.Glad to see you got the spacers on.

Looks good. Now you gotta get out of them thar flatlands to use it :)

Seeing all these trucks lifted to new heights is killing me. I want to lift mine so bad but have to save some more. I just keep telling myself that patience is a virtue.

NICE TRUCK! Good job!!

'Lift' info.?

MIKE,
please advise the 'exact' part numbers you used for the shackles, and front spacers (I assume the spacer went 'under' the front spring?). What did you do about schock length? Did the longer shackles bother stability 'on road'?
Thanks

The shackles are Warrior Products part #WP-153. I purchaced them through 4wheeler parts wholesalers. I don't remember the patr #'s for the spacers, but if you do a search in the Shocks, Suspension and Lift Kits board there are a couple posts that have the part numbers listed there (thats where I got the numbers when I orderd mine). As far a shocks I still have the stock length shocks on it. They work fine, but I will be swapping them out later for some longer ones. The actual limiting factor on front droop (after the shock) is the brake hose. Once I find some longer ones I will work on the longer shocks. As for the stability I don't notice much of a difference (I removed the rear sway bar at the same time I installed the shackles). I leans very slightly in the corners, but it is completley predictable.

Part Numbers

Warrior Shackles ... WAR-153 at DesertRat.com

F-150 Coil Spaces ... F2TZ-5A307-A and F2TZ-5A307-B (one each side) at Ford dealership

3" Trail Master Body Lift ... 9350 at alot of places

Transfer Case for 91-94 ... BW 13-54 in the junk yard

That's all I've needed so far.

do i need more than the shackles for a lift?

just wondering if i need any other parts, other than the shackles for the TT lift. I have a 96XLT. Also, anyone encounter problems with brake line length? I also just replaced my shocks with factory length ones about a month ago. Just wondering if it's gonna work ok if I keep em. Thankx!!!

maxxus... youll be fine... stock will still work with no problem...you dont need anything else other than tools and some wd-40.....

Mrboyle....your truck looks good....
