Get it running right and sounding good
Do all maintenance
Fix the suspension
Tires and wheels
Stereo upgrade
Lift kit (4 inch suspension, 2 inch body)
Body work and paint

That's what they are doing today.

So far:
1-Cracked EGR tube-header is ???
2-bad connection in driver door-causes window to operate intermittently
3-missing panel under steering column-although metal part is there-I think I may have another, not sure though
4-more rust than expected- I was told it was exceptionally rust free

shackles rotted-spare tire missing and spare tire carrier looks pretty bad
needs 2 new tires
We knew of the rear door issue, and have a shell located which is the correct color from a 98 mounty
However-we weren't aware of the rocker rust in the same door threshold area-this will require a new metal panel.

6-fluid changes of course

There is a box of parts that went with it-in it are the following-

lower ball joints
swaybar endlinks
brake pads

First things first. egr tube and tires. We have to actually drive it you know. I guess getting it registered would good--

Then Bryan will get to know a wire wheel and air grinder real well

Well it took awhile-but we finally got the title!!

Well I finally got that doggone egr tube replaced-had to remove the egr valve to get it-that was a bugger

As I suspected we have a cracked passenger side tubular style header. Eric-you still have those cast iron ones to sell? Torque Monster headers will come-but they have to wait awhile-

Other than that--it seems to run well. We'll call the sheriff dept tomorrow to come inspect the title and truck, slap a temp tag on it and drive it.

Here's the rundown--
cracked header
needs a knee bolster trim piece (grey)
inside driver door handle no worky
driver window only operates if the door is in certain positions--
Driver door lock noisy--
no spare tire or wheel-
No stereo unit

heater controls not switching-vacuum leak? (temp cold to hot works fine)

Blend door=hot to cold switching

it is the vent functions which don't work-blows out the defrost

The blend door works fine thankfully--
