I have a 1988 ford ranger and i can't decide if i should have it painted black or orange (like rick's explorer. the administrator of this site). what do u think?

froaders idea would be hot....orange with black on the bottom...;scratch: i have seen them orange but the black on the bottom edge kinda like froaders would look tough...

if you do a tri coat with a black base and a red and gold pearl mid coat head on it will look like a black metalic and on a angle it will look orange metallic. id do that....

flat black primer, rattle can yellow t oorange fade old school flames, 6 coats (at least) of flat clearcoat to seal it all up.

Just remember the more custom you get (i.e. pearls, 2 tones etc) the more difficult/costly it will be to fix if you wreck it or trail rash.
