ID this connector

Under the hood, on the driver's side, just in front of the strut mount is this connector that is disconnected. The dangly portion has two wires that go to the back of the other connector. It's been disconnected since I purchased the vehicle, and I don't have any error messages displayed.

I would connect it and see what happens.

Brian is correct. I just checked mine and two wires loop around to keep the cap from being lost. Two wires hold the cap, the other wires are connected to the harness.
 






That still leaves the question as to what that connector/harness is for? :dunno:
