Life changes, some things change you
I used to come here often then my son had some heart issues and my life changed.
9 years later all is well, settled in a new place, and building trucks again
I have some extra time these days so I am coming back to Explorerforum!

my name is Jamie
I have been building RVB's for 20+ years
I have a custom truck shop at my house and do all things Ranger, Explorer, Ford truck and offroad
I go by 410Customs these days but I used to be 410Fortune on here
I daily drive a custom 1988 Bronco II
I specialize in drivetrain conversions and wiring
So hello to all my old friends and new.
I'm back!! Can't wait to have a look around......

Been building so many things, but still doing trucks, focused on saving old Rangers now. Got into sledding, kids atv's, explorers, rangers, UTV's, and 7.3 Fords.
New shop in Idaho slowly getting up and running, private shop from home

Just sold a custom V8 ranger we built, have done a few of these
Flipping a 94 4x4 now and putting drivetrain from a 2005 into a 99 flip truck also
I'm still around!
Can get online, I work from home, son is 9 now and his heart is 98% (miracle) but since Im doing trucks and online again I came here ASAP!

Im back now older wiser and so much to learn!!!

LOL at 9 years of PMs ;)

In 9 years I’ve got essentially none........., I’m not going to think about what that means.

10.29 in your Dart? Holy moley that's quick!!!!!!!!
Mbrooks you probably answered them all ahead of time :)

Here's my list of vehicles these days:
1988 BII, still mobbing the V8 conversion from 2005, few refinements in the last 9 years
1996 Explorer XLT I sold it, sorry to say
2007 FJ wifes truck built to the hilt
1997 F350 CC flatbed 7.3/Zf5/ 4x4 My shop truck and baby. Intercooled, Swamps injected explorer hauling beast
2001 Excursion 7.3 Limited 4x4 - getting lift
2000 E350 7.3 - getting 4x4
2018 Polaris ranger Crew Northstar on 30" and snowtracks (daily commuter)
2014 Polaris XP1k
2015 Polaris Xp1K4
2005 Polaris RMK 900 mod sled

So you see we have trimmed it down to just the necessities :)

Silly!!! I design elevators not build them. Sometimes I wish I was an installer it would be better for me then sitting at a box drawing boxes. I am an elevator consultant and I specialize in design of hoistways and systems for super talls (the worlds tallest buildings). I have been drawing elevators for many years, working from home since 2005 which allows me much time to build trucks!!

My dad has a t shirt that says "I survived the world trade center bombing" because he was in the building in 97 or 98 when they blew up the parking garage and tried to take WTC down... that Tee shirt

It's when you disappear that people start worrying ;)

Yeah a lot has changed in the 8 years since the car was finished. I moved out to this rural community to be next to the dragstrip, then they closed the track only 2.5 years after I finished building the car. The track had just celebrated it's 50th anniversary. Now the car is apart again being setup to run on the street.:banghead:

When you are a cynical ****** like me and disappear for awhile, people start to think “maybe he’s really gone this time!”
