Installing shackles

Hi I haven't installed shackles before me n my buddy are going to do it by ourselves. I am wondering if someone could walk me through the steps.. Where to jack it up.. where to put the jackstands.. if i have to take off the tire or not?

Then just use the jack to contol the height of the axle so you can install it.....if that makes any sense.

Don't have to take the tire off.
And pray that it's not rusted shut or anything. Seems to happen to a lot of people. Thankfully it only took us 30minutes flat with no rusting issues or other stuff.

wd-40 them like crazy and let sit. you'll most likely have to punch out the bolts.
