Iz's Bingo Bus/Tow Rig

I decided it was time to pass on the old E-350 and replace it with another.

So I picked this guy up on Saturday.

- 2001 E-350 7.3 PowerStroke (does not leak!!)
- Auxiliary air-conditioning/heat under the chassis
- 13 seater (including the driver) but I'll probably change up this combo.
- Air-powered side barn doors (by far the coolest part of the vehicle)
- Wide power side mirrors
- Padded interior walls (in case I go nuts.. oh wait)
- Luggage rack (will probably be removed)

Replacement front seats for this van arrived -- from a GM truck, with integrated seat belts, both seats fully electrical.

I could have gone with the F-150 seats cauz they also have integrated seat belts (which was my priority cauz I dont want to deal with swapping latch mechanisms), but the F-150 seats don't come with arm rests. So it had to be the GM seats. And of course cloth gray, to match the rest of the interior

My plan is to remove all the decals in a few weeks (after T-Haven but before Thanksgiving cauz this thing is going up to NY packed to the roof with family and relatives for some gobble gobble eating session). But I have no idea what to put up at the top - maybe just paint white over the whole thing cauz it looks like its going to be difficult applying decals up that high and over the windshield (maybe remove the hood and stand on the firewall thing).

But as for the body, I found some decals for RVs and motorhomes that look interesting -- something to break up that white space thats going to scream at you once the Comfort Inn decals are gone. Like this but a color combo that a bit more subtle:

That they do Maniak-- but pay for shipping and I'll send you a complete 7.3L direct injection block which you can rebuild (from my other/older E-350 which I will push into the Chesapeake Bay, for fun)

But wait, act now, and I'll even send you the turbo (which is already bolted onto the block, duh), and an extra 10mm deep-well socket which I dropped somewhere on top of the upper plenum and of course you can never get to those things once they are there.

Mine has 13x,x.. -- somewhere around there.

I looked at the driver's side of the trans but didn't see anything out of the ordinary -- no bolted on mechanism or whatever.

Van is now almost decal-less.

The only decals left are this ones at the very top of the rear. OMFG wheres the ladder ...
