LOL some one in FL steal that van for me, we'll swap it with mine ;)

But every install is difficult for me

well if ya need some help with the 12volt junk let me know, I should have shown ya the alarm in my rig when you were over here

What brand of alarm were you considering?
I just bought it from E-bay. The seller had very good feedback with his alarm so I said why not.

Will do. I'm might attempt the install today - if not, then tomorrow.

hey is what guy did you buy the alarm from
LOL dont worry, it wasnt from that guy from Florida -- I read that thread and was scared too
But mine has already arrived and I checked to ensure everything was there.

Well here's the guy's Ebay store front:
http://stores.ebay.com/CarAlarmsEtc

With slightly over two and a half thousand transactions on Ebay, he has a 99.8% positive feedback.

that van doesnt have power locks already does it?
also those alarms off that egay seller dont look too bad, but I dont know if I would use the remotestarter from there, no external relay packs = bad imo

No the van doesnt have power locks already -- but the E-bay kit came with 4 actuators. I just have to put a lock/unlock button somewhere between the driver and passenger.

Today was just more body work and extended the rear bumper with some tubes so that a person can actually use it as a step. Also power washed it and scrubbed the entire body with a green Brillo pad and a mix of water, laundry detergent, and Comet. It removed most of the grime and decaying whatever that was on the body and roof - the previous owner used to park the van under a tree so there was a lot of fungus or whatever the heck that was.

Theres about 2 more hours left of body work - then its paint time on Friday.

Almost looks like a modern day mystery machine from scooby doo:p:

Nah, should turn out nice after you're done with it:thumbsup:

3 things...

1. You missed the bar tabs over the rear windows.
2. Find a factory mirror dor the passanger side...Pleeeeease!
3. Loose the front hub caps.

That is all:D
