I am so confused

I converted my 1988 POS 3 relays and some inline fuses power distribution system to use a 93 style power box, all the relays and fuses inside.

When I went 5.0L I kep the 93 style box

the only difference between a 93 explorer non CA and CA is EGR

the CA truck will have EGR, a non CA truck in 93 did not have EGR

also the CA truck will have a "detuned" computer other then that they are identical

Jon what is it you need help with? I missed all this but I can def help you with wiring this *****
i read the last two pages, but i must need to take notes because i am lost!!!

Me too.

Jamie I appreciate the offer. I will take you up on this once we get the swing set up.

I just cut down a swing set

funny how a guy says he needs a wiring harness and then decides that this should come with it.

Well, Danny the picture looks tiny.

90ranajo dropped this bumper off, and boy is it big. Deer do not stand a chance now. Robert and Danny thanks for working this all out to get it here.

To tell the truth, it will be one more little thing to motivate me on this truck. I kinda needed it right now. ;)

Get us a picture of it mounted sir.

John, the bumper is lined up for a truck with a 3" body lift. You may need to drill some holes in either your frame or the bumper...or both. Also, I couldn't find the light bar mount. I'll get it to you at some point.

Also take a look at Mark's (Froader's) truck and see about trimming that header panel as low as possible. With the 3" body lift the bottom of that bumper was right at the bottom of the frame. As big as it looks, it really doesn't sacrifice all that much clearance if you mount it right.

Well,
ped5stang sent me yet another 93 harness, and this time we have a winner. A few days ago he sent a pm saying he had one and would I like to trade a lil for it. I said, "I will trade anything, please get it here"!!!
This harness has the plug to attach into my existing relay box, instead of the 3 relay box being wired directly in.
I am actually all stoved up at the moment, but if I can get my wits back I will give this another attempt soon. Sorry for not getting on it right away, but I have just plain been doing too much and it has caught up to me in a bad way.

Please stay tuned though. ;)

Get some rest my friend! We'll get it going asap!

Well, Mark and I got the harness all swapped out. Everything seems to be plugged in good.

The fuel pump relay clicks, but the fuel pump does not run.It did run before, so I assume I have a loose plug somewhere. I do see check engine, abs and other cluster lights with key switched to on

the starter cranks---

Does anyone know the wiring circuit to the fuel pump?

Also
I have a blue colored connector on the driver side, near the inner fender area. I can find nothing to plug it in to. Can someone confirm this is a bare plug for me? it is a round, keyed connector--approx 1" diameter, 2.5" long with about 10 female connections inside the housing

Could it be the ABS diagnostic connector???

Could it be the ABS diagnostic connector???

I have a abs diag connector with a red cap on it--attached to the abs pump area

this one is down lower under the abs stuff

It is near the 2 connectors connecting the left side leg of main harness (where it goes above the brake booster and around to abs area) to the left side engine harness--( oil sender-low oil sensor-and trans harness)

No--
I will go look at mine again. I had to have unplugged the stupid thing when I removed the first harness. It looks clean like it was connected.
