King of the Hammers Feb 12 2010

My ranger and Tracy's cj7. I still have your cell number from last year. If you have Verizon they are working much better out there this year. Hope to meet up with you out there.

Sounds good. I do have Verizon, last year it only worked at the cell bush and near the pavement, good to know it is better.

We are planning to head out Wed afternoon Where are you going to camp?

No idea on where we will be. Will just find a spot when we get there. Over new years My verizon blackberry was working on the lake bed and on the exit from clawhammer and most of the way back to the lake bed. Hopefully we get a spot with verizon access and I can use my broadband card to log on and say where we are at.

I'd love to attend this.. dang collarbone, heal faster!

If by some magical chance we can make it out it would be just for a day, but I really don't see it happening:(

Matt, I'm sending that driveshaft from Danny with my parents. It turns our it was the same size as the I have.:(

While you are there, see if you can't find Dan from RuffStuff and Jason Ratliff of JRat Offroad and get me some more details on his Sixty9 3rd member.

Drop Out Dana 60
Takes all Dana 60 parts "gears, bearings, setup kit, lockers"
High or Low pinion in the same housing
Symmetrical pattern can be used as a "high pinion, low pinion or flipped high or low"
8620 STEEL housing "not IRON or Aluminum" Very very strong. 2 to 3 times stronger then all other iron housings made.
Roughly 3/4" to 1" more clearance then any Dana 60 housings out now.
The bearing caps will be keyed so there will be no mix up and also making the side adjusters "miss fit" a thing of the past. This will also help eliminate bearing deflection on the carrier bearings.
These were designed, built, poured, machined 100% in the good ol' USA by Good ol' Americans!
Dan at Ruffstuff Specialties will be making all the housings for this new axle. I know I am missing some stuff and will post completed pictures and will start a general testing thread soon. See you all at KOH!!! Thank You Jason Ratcliff JRAT OFFROAD

try to stay out of the mud. there is another storm coming in tuesday night into wednesday

I get into Ontario at 9:10 am so after getting the rental car and bags together (and finding an in-n-out on the way for an early lunch :D ) I should be there by 1 or so.

Once you get out of the Airport you can go west to Vinland Ave. and the 10 fry. there is one there, or if there is one on the North side at Millikan (off ramp before the 15 fry.) and the 10fry, and if you want to go a little more north there is one off the 15 fry., a few miles above from the 10 fry. on foothill in walmart shopping center.;)

Sorry..use to work two blocks from that airport:rolleyes::D

I plan to go wednesday and friday but not camping. After last years event, I have determined tent camping sucks at the Hammers:thumbdwn:

I'm going to try and make it out for Fri.

Since I've never been out there before, can anyone confirm that it'll be out off of Boone rd.?

And I'd have to agree that tent camping would be a bad idea, even if you could find a soft spot it's going to be a little bit chilly once the sun goes down.
Weather Link for the LVY

Yes, Boone rd. is correct...although with the amount of traffic that will be out there I don't think you can miss it:p:

So it looks like it may FREAKIN SNOW out there tues. night into wed.

Here is the race corse. I am thinking watch them take off from the start line. Then head towards aftershock. Watch that for a while then head to back door to watch some there. Then head to to sledge and watch what happens in there.
