KOH Feb. 1-9 who is going?

..What number is the Bronco team?

..I wasn't sure if Robby was in this year or if he was still going with the old Torchmate TTB..

..He has been running a steady third and is currently 4th in stage 9 of the Dakar..

..I stumbled across this while searching steering pumps on AGR's site..

TTB KING OF HAMMERS 4400 RACE JEEP
We are building a TTB racer that will be very fast and still rock climb. The car is being built strong for desert racing it is not a modified type rock buggy that seem to have problems finishing the races.

The TTB KING OF HAMMERS 4400 RACE JEEP is being developed using only the best race parts and materials provided by a long list of Mistress Racing sponsors.

I know there is a TTB Jeep from Canada as well, but I don't think he's running (not sure) there is also another TTB buggy that said he's trying to make it for the LCQ.

Robby is driving the old Torchmate car as far as I know.

Don't have a clue on the Bronco team number.

So how are we all going to meet up? I will likely be there with my wife, son and a friend of his. We will probably be camping with several Wacky friends (Blue 52's). But I would like to meet up with some of the Explorer Forum people at some point(s) thru the weekend.

..I will be running on CB channel 10, alternate 4..

.. I will probably have found where everyone is camped at by the time you get out there and I'm usually playing taxi or can be found running back and forth..(Also, leave a note if you see my truck parked somewhere)

..Cell phones tend to be spotty out there and mine don't even like the "Cell phone bush"..:(

..I'll be in my X and will probably be the easiest one to spot..:D

..Thanks...I snapped that last year...

..I just saw Robby finished up at the Dakar Rally and will be at KOH although I haven' found any info on his truggy yet..

Gordon completes the 2013 Dakar Rally 14th overall, finishing with his signature donuts for hundreds of fans waiting to greet him. The team is ready for some needed rest after several days of camping in the desert. However, next up for Gordon of his many off-road adventures state-side will be the Best in the Desert Parker 425 on January 31st - February 3, where he will return in his no.77 SPEED Energy / Toyo Tires Trophy Truck, followed by the King of the Hammers event on February 6 - 9th.

From what I understand we are going to try and camp on the opposite side of Hammertown from where we were last year, over on the side where Robby Gordon parked his race hauler (less traffic/dust).

...That would be just past Brian1's stretch Limo and over where the Helicopters land?..:D

..Hope you can make it..:biggthump

..We generally stay out there in our trucks for the week or so as desert rats..I think I will be the only one this year with there own vehicle staying for a number of days though..The rest are riding with someone else.

Its about 50/50 for me atm, ill def be camping out/ sleepin in the truck if i do get to go :P Is there open play areas that are not close off to the race only for those of us who do bring our own trucks? Could be fun during any free time :D

I'm still up in the air on how many and which days i'll be out there...all depends on the work schedule. Hopefully I can get the truck back together in time to make it otherwise I'll be going out in my DD to check out Hammertown.

There are plenty of open area's to putt around during KOH, I usually like to go watch other people at Backdoor or Chocolate Thunder beat on their junk:D

1 week till I get on the plane and I have way to much work to do. Time is going by fast, I cant wait to get out there! Hammertown construction is underway right now and the LCQ course looks like it has a fairly serious waterfall climb

I know there is a TTB Jeep from Canada as well

After it ran KOH ~2 yrs (?) ago there were some shady dealings that went on with that guy and some parts vendors. Last I heard the Jeep got parted out :(

..It's been rainy the last couple of days so it may slow the building of Hammertown..

..We are expecting rain for a couple more days this weekend then sunny and 60's for the week then Landers will be Sunny until the following weekend when it expects rain for Sun-Mon...

Edit:..I forgot to mention there will be Wifi in Hammertown..;)

well i walked out started the truck this mornin, white smoke pouring out the tail, guess i have another effing blown head gasket, imma end up just puting in a 302 im tired of this junk drive train :(, yall have fun at KoH. Maybe aunt will lemme barrow her jeep :D

I live in big bear and always wanted to go is there an actual race day to come to or is there racing all week?

..I was hoping you posted to see if someone could pick you up at the airport..

..I spent some time today gathering some food goods for this trip and then I parked over by In-N-Out just to take in the smell...I didn't eat there as I'm saving it for the trip...Mmmm, In-N-Out...Don'tit just make your mouth water thinking about it?..:D
