Let's see, what can I powdercoat today?

The bottom surface is the only real part that is prone to rust. The frame could use it too of course. I'm thinking of how much work it will be doing it by hand with Eastwood spray on products.

And, Seth247 is getting a wrinkle black grill guard.

Saweet! And done in a jiffy too!

(Did you know that a jiffy is an actual unit of measurment amounting to 1/100th of a second?)

Hitch looks great Jon. I'm told my hitch is a real hassle to get off. I'd have it in the oven in a heartbeat if is wasn't. Would save me having to hit it with rust paint every spring.

Great work as always. I'm really looking forward to watching your handiwork up close. :)

That sounds like another project for the trip. Yank it off and pick a color.

Can you just spray clear over the Mopar parts and have a crinkle coat?

Shoot, that stuff would be better than using a key on a car wouldn't it? Find your dirtiest neighbors car and spray "WASH ME" on the back.

They were wrinkle black before he sprayed them with the remover

Well I didn't want to clutter up the thread, but that crinkle effect needed a comment of some kind.

In your defense they are much more wrinkled now.
The whole mess should just blast off now with a power washer. It is hot, and playing in the water sounds good right now.

These are 1st gen extended radius arms built by Maniak. Of course they had to have something-well, Maniak.:p:

I thought about it for a minute, and said, hmm, what would Mark do?

I sniffed some lacquer thinner and came up with this--

Burns Green with some little blue accents to go with the James Duff springs,( I hope)

Of course I am kidding about the lacquer thinner. It was only MEK

Looks familiar! That's gonna be quite the party in Kansas.

Beautiful work Jon. I wish shipping wasn't so bad.

Shipping of my Radius arms from here to there and back was about $45.. + $8 for the plastic tub I used as a box.. Its not "that" bad..

This mickey mouse thing--grrr

lol
It was weathered black. I spent about 5 hours and 3 bags of sand getting the powder coated finish off, then re coated it with "Metallic Red", and "Mirror Black" Mickey heads

Then I have this bench to do,
I only have it blasted so far, but the plan is blue eyes and deep red lips on the left face, green eyes and a more purple lip on the right face,

Antique Gold for the remainder. Going to have the welds filled in better first
