From what i read i don't think he was tryign to steal it, i think it was an employee who just popped the clutch and it lunged off the floor. I don't think they would let a customer start the car up inside the showroom.

also the EVO is far from a cheap POS japanese car, they are pretty damn nice.......

I would not buy one, but for the price and the other cars in their class, they are a good purchase.

I dont like rice, I would prefer our GTI anyday, but I do read up on all the new cars and the Mitsu EVO is pretty trick.......better then a civic, almost a WRX.

For the $$$$ I'll take a 93 Stang and mod the hell out of it...but to each his own.

Now I no longer use the explorer 4x4 board becuase I recently sold my exploder and purchased a Subrau WRX.

To tell you the truth the Japanese cars are gonna last a hell of a lot longer then Ford or Chevy. Sure that EVO is only a 4 cyl but it buts out more than 275 horse power. Hell explorer V8's dont even push that out.

Thats a pretty bold statement... maybe some japanese cars will last longer than some american cars but its a whole different story when it comes to trucks, thats why so many japanese car companies have stayed away from making trucks and v8's for so long.

They compared the WRX and the EVO and both cars are VERY even..........

Nothing wrong with a factory turbo charged 4 banger and AWD system that pushes more then 270 HP (WRX is more like 300)

And thats STOCK (both cars are built for speed/performance) with no frills interiors etc, I dont thing either of them have A/C

Now can you imagine tweaking the forced induction a little more? These cars would be too much to handle for most drivers, and woudl sure be fun to commute in.

Dont worry I wouldnt trade my truck for anything, besides just because they are quick and agile doesnt mean they hold up good against large metal poles/bumpers

As a mattter of fact. The WRX only puts out 227. The Subrau STI puts out the 300hp and the 300 pounds of torque. The STI comes with a AC but no radio.
