Lori's Reaper, The Cobra R Clone (56K Die)

Bah! Da heck with da hood scoops...I hear a Shaker hood whispering your name Lori.....:D

This..with the Cobra R splitter and without the trophy (Reaper will earn enough on his own)

sweet looking mustang

First off, sorry to hear about the Stang, and the dog, and the paintguy! Sounds like everyone is ok though and that is most important. I am pretty conservative so I like the the all glossy black like in the first pics. I love that hood but I dont think the satin accents do it any justice--never liked the look on those 80's Stangs myself. The front bumper looks great too. The wing, not sure if you are putting one on but I dont think it complements it very well. The wing on the white convertivle looks better. As far as wheels -argent or black- they are perfect! Looking forward to progress/finished pics and sounds like you are back on track! Had a few issues with painters over the years and I understand the stress/frustration!

I put it up to harass Lori :p:

Actually, I am leaning more towards a supercharged 5.4 liter. May have to do some hood massaging...but it would be worth it. :D

Kenne Bell sticking thru the hood sounds good to me...
:)

Id use a stock hood though, that one looks too nice to cut up.

Yep, we are going satin on the hood scoops.

I also got news today that Reaper will be getting the Griggs Super Street Racing suspension. Our friend Rick, owner of Ryckman Motorsports, is now a Griggs dealer and installer. Reaper is the new demo car for the 99-04 Griggs set-up. :D

Here is what's included in this deal:
* Heavy Duty TorqueArm (Solid Axle Applications)
* Panhard Bar (Solid Axle Applications)
* Lower Subframe Connectors
* Anodized Aluminum Front and Rear Coil-Over Kit*
* Koni Single Adjustable Street Shocks and Struts
* Griggs Racing MCA 4000 N with Urethane Bushings*
* Urethane Front Control Arm Bushings
* Delrin Rear Lower Control Arm Bushings (IRS Only)
* Urethane IRS Cradle to Body Mount Bushing (Includes 14mm bolts and nuts)
* Urethane IRS Differential Front and Rear Mount Bushing Kits*
* GR40 Billet Aluminum Bumpsteer Kit
* Billet Aluminum GR40 Camber Plates (on applicable years)

The addition of Griggs Coil Over Konis and rear lower control arms makes this kit pack a big punch. Fully adjustable ride height, low un-sprung weight and ride quality that’s unobtainable with non-coilovers.

This is gonna be fun!!!!! :D

There is actually a Cervini's Stalker cowl hood. Looks a little funny, but hey, it would work.

That's gonna be a great setup! A couple of the Mach guys run that and it gives VERY impressive handling!!

Rick is wanting to show off the cars (all 5 Griggs set up cars) in March, for a High Performance Driving Experience, at the track. We'll take people for rides and show the systems off to hopefully get some of these set-ups sold.

I better get to drive one. :p:

You better talk to Rick or Nathan about seeing if they will let you drive one of theirs. I am driving Reaper that weekend and my understanding is that we are only taking people for rides. If you want to drive, it's gonna cost.
