You better talk to Rick or Nathan about seeing if they will let you drive one of theirs. I am driving Reaper that weekend and my understanding is that we are only taking people for rides. If you want to drive, it's gonna cost.
I'm having a Mission Impossible SVO mask made. :D

happy birthday!

Well after a certain someone ^^^^^ told Lori I had a birthday present for her, I was barraged with questions, and it ultimately came down to a 2 outta 3 "Rock/ Paper/Scissors challenge to see if I would cough up the goods.................

I lost :(

Any way I couldn't show her in person so I showed her some pics, and if she hadn't had her glasses on her eyes would have popped out on the floor:

275-40-17's on 9's in the front and 315-40-17's on 10.5's in the rear, and there are still a few more goodies UPS hasn't delivered, but that'll keep her tied over for a while :p:

Jeff - :navajo:

Lori, Jeff lied. He just had Colin photoshop those wheels and tires on Reaper.

Isn't he sexy?

And yes, I was completely surprised. I pride myself on busting Jeff when he tries to do something sneaky but he got me this year. But that's ok, with presents like this, I can handle being surprised. :D

I am getting so excited. :D I so can't wait to get my Reaper back with him looking so handsome and mean...*giggle, giggle*

My new 40th Anniversary badges came in today so I am still getting presents. Plus, tomorrow I am ordering my new hood shocks. No more ugly prop bar. :thumbdwn:

Lori, get your hood props from MRT Racing. Much better than the others and they are bolt in, no drilling and riveting needed. (Plus the owner, Scott Hoag, is a great guy and developed the Bullitt and the Mach 1 for Ford when he was a Ford Engineer). Here's the link http://store.mrt-direct.com/80b000.html

Thanks Jeff, but gonna wait. Talked to my expert at LRS and it seems that the hood props are bending some of the aftermarket hoods. One of the employees there just switched his over to his new Cervini's hood and it's already bowing. Too much pressure or other brands don't have enough pressure to hold the hood up, so I am just going to wait awhile and do some more research on them.

Rick has them on the Shelby's and they aren't a problem, but then again, they aren't aftermarket hoods.

On a side note, even though I was on the "very naughty" list, Santa still brought me an upgraded Cobra clutch for Reaper. :D I believe I also have a button start ignition waiting at the shop for me, too!

Naughty can be nice!!!!!

:chug:

On edit, what I like about the MRT brackets over the others is that they don't mount to a single point on the hood like many of the others. They come with a 1' long bracket that spreads the load out over a larger area, so less stress is put on the hood.
