My '01 Sport has slowly but surely developed a loud roar from the front end. It sounds as if the tires are very extreme mud tires, however they are basic all seasons. I would think a wheel hub/bearing is bad, however one was replaced about 10K miles ago and the other about 5K miles ago. I suppose its possible one went bad already since they both were ebay cheapies, however the sound is directly related to speed. Corning/loading either side doesn't make a difference. The sound starts at 25-30 and continues the faster you go, being the loudest at about 55. After 55-60 the frequency changes and it doesn't seem as bad. However its hard to have a conversation in the vehicle. Also, you can actually feel a slight vibration in the floorboards. I dont know for sure but it certainly sounds like its coming from the front end area and is driveline related. So where do I start??
