Yep. There's some new nav voice functionality when the 19Q1 map is paired up with the latest 20136 build as well, for those that use it.

Are those the same files we have from “other” places?

Got the correct ESN. Was trying the SiriusXM ESN at first. For some reason (senior's moment) I mistakenly thought this was also a Sync 3 update. It is just a map update. Should have paid more attention to the thread title.

Haven’t checked but they should be.

Yeah you can download the new maps now from the SYNC Navigation site.

It's out there. Updated mine on Monday. Just go to Ford - Sync3 Map Update.
You will need VIN and ESN numbers. After the update went from NAV118 to Nav119.

It was about 50ish minutes when I updated a family members Edge.

Mine was about 1 hour. About what the instructions indicated.
And don't delete your email with the order approval. If you close the Ford website before you download all the items needed the only way to get back to it is from the email.
Guess how I know that.

Thanks guys. I downloaded everything at once including the 12 pages of instructions. I haven't transferred anything to a USB drive yet. I also don't plan to let my vehicle idle for an hour to download the update and don't have a reason to drive that long either. At least not in the immediate future. I still have the order confirmation email.

Got the notice on my Ford Pass App Yesterday, downloaded the files per the instruction. Reformatted one of my Flash drives and loaded the files on just as the instructions indicated. Attempted to updated my 2020, got an error twice, update failed error PKG ERR03, guess I will have to call for support.

Try to re-download and copy to a different drive. Would seem one of the packages is corrupt.

Since this thread is on Sync 3.4, I'm guessing the update was for that. There is a separate thread for the Map Update.

I did get a Ford Pass notice about an update but it was for the the Map. Checking today, 19274 is still the latest on the website.

The site will not let me download again, that choice is not available. I will speak with Ford and report back.

Spoke with Sync support, the error is a corrupt flash drive, I reformatted the drive again and reload the software onto it. Will attempt to install later today.

what all did you have to do to update the maps. I downloaded formatted thumb drive added it to the thumb drive and nothing happened. did you extract the files from the zip?
