Thanks for all the replies. I was worried I would be bored and stuck watching others, after driving 1200 miles

Well Douglas,Brian, Msupertek I would enjoy meeting up and hitting some trails.

My wife is worried I am going to get stuck or break something when I am out there, so I told her I needed to get a rear locker and some rock sliders.

becker69 I ran fins and things in 2004, it would be a good trail for my wife to get some drive time on Friday afternoon. If you want I could run it around 3 p.m. after I do my morning trails. Any of you other stockers or slightly modifieds want to join us as well that will be fine. Let me know if your interested.

When I went to Moab in 2004 I had two stockers that followed me and positive vibes through fins and things, I don't remember them having any trouble.

Any stock 4x4 should do fine on Fins-n-Things. Just give them proper instruction & spotting on the steep slickrock sections, and don't dare stop in the soft sand sections.

Dude you will have to take definate advantage of that! Next time you go wheelin' you'll have to get full skid plates, then a winch... then an SAS, then a ... . My wife just says ' Don't roll it, or you'll be done wheeling for a while'. I just think that'd be even more of a reason to upgrade components

well I am about 90% sure I am going to make it, probably alone again, so I will have passenger room and an extra bed at the motel.

I would like to head out to AREA BFE also, and my only trail request is Hell's Revenge, got to make it up escaltor this year-under my own power, and possibly Pritchett, since this year I will be joining the trailer crew!

Gotta get my ass busy and get the truck finished now!!!!

People usually meet at the City Market which is 425 South Main Street, but I don't remember where they said they are meeting on Friday. I probably wont be there until Saturday.

(from what I have found researching these trails, min requirement is atleast one locking differential, 33 inch tires required for these trails)....... and of course the regular required stuff like tow hooks, etc....

I'll be at the City Market Friday about 9:00am.

Gerald I'm up for whatever you do on Friday. Would like to check out the dino tracks though.

So, I've read a couple of reviews with pictures of Kane Creek. Of course, the pictures never really look as bad, but I didn't think it looked too bad. How much has the trail deteriorated/become more difficult.

Dignan; I'd been wondering the same things about Kane Creek Canyon trail... It sounds like another trail I'd be adequately set up for. Brian, have you run it anytime in the last few trips?

I know it was mentioned (I don't know probably 7 or so pages ago ) but the National Geographic maps for Moab; "Moab South" and "Moab North" are incredibly detailed with almost ALL the trails depicted... for those of us who are new to the area. They're about $6-10 at Sportsmans or REI and give good spatial representation of the trails in Wells' book.

If anyone knows of any HP Dana 44 axles for sale please let me know. The guy i bought my axle from said he gave me the wrong passenger side one so i gave it back and have yet to recieve the right one.

I hate to say it but the "purple gang" won't be going to Moab this year.
I was laid off 3 weeks ago & haven't found a job as of yet and with everything else happening in the last few months we just can't do it and its to bad because Teri was wanting to drive some this year.

I really hope everyone will have a great time for us & take lots of pictures.
