Are you planning on driving straight through, or stopping some where for the night?

I usually drive to Colby, KS and stop for the night at the Holiday Inn. Then finish off the drive during daylight so i can see the sights in CO. But this all depends on what time I get on the road. If I get out of work early that day and get on the road by 2-3pm I will drive farther. But in the past I usually dont get on the road until 5pm so I drive till about 11pm and shut it down for the night.

You can move me over to the confirmed list! I'll be arriving Thursday evening, wheeling Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hope to get a tent site at Canyonlands Campground.

The fam will be tagging along this year. Me, wife, 2 kids. Also my brother in his '66 EB and his wife. Count us in for the Branding Iron too!

Can't wait for some more great wheelin in Moab!

Reservations made! :bounce:

Canyonlands tent site.

Plans are to leave the ArkLaTex wednesday morn. the 19th, and roll in thursday afternoon. Wheel fri-sat-sun, and head home monday morning.

Anyone want to split a tent site?

Those tent sites are tiny as it is. I don't know how you can split one.

My friend can't go now, due to health related problems. There goes my trailer :(

So I am looking for someone to split a cabin rental. I really don't want to haul all my camping gear 1100 miles again.

I called today and they said they have single tent sites, double tent sites and triple tent sites. The prices were the same for all sizes.

We had 2 tents in there last year and it was tight but it worked. Especially with two rigs, makes it tight.

This year I'll have 2 tents in my site again, sharing with my bro and his family.

Parking should not be an issue if you drop the trailer. Last fall, we had a trailer stuffed between cabins, parked tow rig on other side, and the wheeler in front or behind.

For tent camping, it might be a little harder to park next to tent. They have a place up front for parking.

They also have extra parking on site for the trailer if needed.

Greg I'll split Cabin with you.

Anyone else have any Rhinos or RZRs that want to bring those to play?? I will have my RZR with me also.

We love it, tons of fun packed in small package, my wife loves it so that was big help. In places like Moab u can cover alot more ground alot quicker in rzr than truck, smoother too. They rent them at Moab, be worth doing that before investing.

Hmmm... Good idea, if they rent them down there maybe I should try one out... Could be a good time... Personally I want a Sportsman for things like plowing my driveway and just farting around on when I go camping... No looking for something to replace the explorer, but it would be nice if Tara would go along sometimes, but she's not a fan of 4 wheelers... They scare her, yet she likes to hop on a snowmobile and tear it up at 60MPH!!!

If I dont have my own RZR by Moab I am renting one there to go wheeling with Brad. Brad you still going early? I am leaving Tuesday to be there Wed afternoon.

Yea I plan to go early, i want 2 full days of rzr riding, then I can decide what trails I should tag along for in my vehicle
Still have finallized date, I can leave as early as sunday night May 16th but no later than Tuesday night.
My goal is to drive I70 from denver to moab in daytime, and not drive straight thru. so stay somewhere along the way.
Do you want to caravan out??
Also havent decided if hauling the Jeep & RZR behind truck or Driving Jeep pulling small trailer with RZR??

We do it all the time. Park the tow rig and trailer down below in the overflow parking and it isn't that difficult to arrange two tents in one site. You can also reserve the larger sites if you know in advance that there will be multiple tents in your group.
