How did you guys make reservations for Canyonland? By phone? I wonder if I could E-mail in a reservation? I do not exactly have access vary easy to a phone.

Which site are you guys staying at? I have seen two, Willow Flat and Needles. Which is better/closer?

Bronco2guy is tenting it now. I might be doing the same if I cant get a room mate..lol

I called 'em, nice lady answered on the 2nd ring (maybe they dont want Heath there?):

IIRC reservation is around $30, she did not say Willow Flat or Needles, nor did she say anything about different size tent sites.

They must feel the same to me as to Heath, I played phone tag for 2 days, but when I did catch them at the office, they were very polite and helpful!!

I think I may just get a tent site, has anyone asked them (Canyonlands) about the group sites? They have it listed on their website for large groups. I think it is sites listed with a "G" on their map. Looks like G14 and G15 could handle several tents. Anyone want to split? My tent is not a mini home like Greggs

Hmm, the group sites had a bunch of foreign girls who had 2 vans pulling trailers and about 6 small tents last year, and were right in front of the cabins.

I would go in on the group site with a couple of people too if possible. That would drop the price for us.

I have to say, the view from the cabin last year was fantastic! :

Last time Greg/Chad/Mike, there were topless girls at the pool, my wife noticed when we pulled in and gave me a hard time for looking, but I didnt even see them, she was the one.
