Oh hell no!! Who is going to egg me on and make sure I do something stupid? This may be my last year for a long time if I don't make Chief and have to start a new career, so I am going for broke. Most dares won't be denied.

dang it, I may have to change my mind and just show up for this..

We is 3 adults.

kevin, hope you make Chief. When will you know?

Doesnt look like we will be making Saturday night dinner, so count us out. We actually are gonna leave mid day Saturday. We will be arriving Tuesday evening, brininging 3 RZRS models and Jeep, so any other early birds are welcome to join us.
We also might take half day to do some whitewater rafting?

My family and I will not be attending the group dinner at the Branding Iron this year.

My passenger seat is wide open this year and you got first dibs.

;) Getting excited!!!!!!
I finally made it back to the USA! Just got to get home to Vegas, pull the Ex out of the garage, Re-Gear and build some Sliders for the trip! Good thing I got 60 days off!

Reservations made at Cayonlands for 20-24 May!

I went out wheeling yesterday for the first time this year... The new chromolly shafts and bigger ujoints went back together awesome!

Had a good time playing in the lava beds. I can't wait for my first trip to Moab...

I should have hydro assist steering in the next couple of weeks and with any luck I'll have sliders on before Moab too...

Does anyone know if the Topo Maps from Garmin that cover Utah, and say they show Jeep trails and so forth? Do they show the trails at Moab? Or what is a good GPS system for using in Colordao and Utah to see trails, but not to expensive. thanks for the Help and im not very GPS savy fyi.

Also I like the dash mount stlyes more than hand held.

My current unit is Garmin Nuvi 255, which has street maps, but I found this for it
https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=998
which is discontinued but have found some forsale online

I have the map of Moab that is what I/we used last year. The C.Wells book is also a good investment. But you already have that correct?

On page 217 of the C. Wells Moab book is a list of topo maps for Moab, you can also check the USGS website for maps. Don't know about the GPS stuff tho, I am still old school for a map and compass.

Yea, I remember riding the VFR from San Francisco, CA to Vail, CO for a colors run.

That was a wild ride, 1000+ miles in a single day on a motorcycle!
