Ok, move me back to confirmed. New axle will be here by April 12th at latest, leaves me over a month to hook it all up, and I'm just not gonna miss Moab. If jeep isn't done, I'll just have to be tailgunner with my mountain bike egging others on with my Super Soaker, but I'll be there . Already have reservations at canyonlands for the 19-24th. And count me in for 1 at dinner for now, possibly more if my brother decides to come, but just me for now.

No pizza lol??? ah ya at this point leave jeep home if we have all 3 rzrs going. Biggest problem so far, is wife cant get off tuesday, the rest of us are allready off whole week.. So thats only hurdle we have.

2 adults and 2 kids for the branding iron for me. Also, my brother won't be coming along in his Early Bronco, just the BII this time.

It looks like my dad may not make it out this year. I know we talked about getting the big tent site area that holds several tents anyone want to split it? I want to make a reservation this week. (Brad? Gman you gonna make it) Anyone else?

( Gman you gonna make it)

Sorry Chad, I don't know yet.

I'm trying as hard as I can. Funds for the trans, shocks and now the bent rear frame has taken priority. I wont know for a couple weeks yet. If I do make it out there, it will be bare bones basics. That means leaving home on Thursday, and not getting there till Friday, going back home on Sunday.

I'd be willing to split a site with you.

Sounds good Mike. I think the big site will hold a few tents as well as parking for our rigs.

Called today and reserved large tent site @ Canyonlands *but they didnt give me site # said they would when we arrive??* dates reserved from May 18th-22 - 5days
Will be myself and 3 friends, + Chad551 at this site. Possibly Gmanpaint if he can make it.......

Do the large tent sites have a fire pit? I know the camper pull through site don't. Just wondering where to bring my cooler and chair :chug:

MrBoyle will be there to Brad.

And yes there is some fire pits and plenty of room for coolers and chairs... I am so pumped...

Yeah, after missing it last year, I bet you are. I am just proud that we have an actual caravan coming out of Washington this year.

We kinda have a caravan of people from Missouri, just leaving at different times. But we all have the same goal:D

LOL -my truck is actually pulling out of Missouri on May 15th in the evening, we were gonna spend few days in grand junction Co, and still might, but at this point were gonna cruise on over and hit Little Sahara, UT dunes for monday/tuesday and then show up in Moab Tuesday evening.

Side note hopefully thursday goona try and do some whitewater rafting ? anyone interested, take one of the tours?

Four Explorers and one B2 from the wet side of Washington, all over 1000 miles to Moab - - not a bad showing for the NW crew. Hell, we may even win the "Most Explorers from One State" contest. . .

Leaving five weeks from TOMORROW!!!!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I-70 is still going to be under construction through Glenwood Canyon due to that big rock slide that shut it down, right? Last news tidbit I thought said through June.

I just watched a news clip and it said they were blasting a large boulder to bring it down in a controlled environment. And then work will begin to open at least 1 lane in each direction, hopefully 1 lane will be open by May 17th. It also said there are 2 detours one going south and adding 140 miles, and a northern route that adds over 100 miles as well.
