So do we have a list of Explorers wanting to Explorer with their Explorers. LOL.

Well thanks to the warmer weather I was able to get the CB antenna mounted. Coax ran into the truck. It is getting there.

When I first started going with this group to Moab, there were 20+ that went. Now probably half that.

Participation numbers always increase, when the Great Pumkin goes. 🥸
Is Rick going to grace us with his presence this year? I want to finally meet the myth and the legend. LOL

It’s not looking good for me getting there. This spring has filled up.

So, those who have attended Moab trip before. What is this thing about permits? Do street legal rigs need one?

Our explorers, jeeps and other passenger 4wd NO. SxS and motorcycles yes

If you go into Elephant hill need to register at the Ranger station or online before going that day.

Arches national park requires reservations.

If your rig is not 100% street legal don't be a a** and you should be fine with popo when driving to the trail or dinner.

I think I am still coming at least for a few days but Im now debating what to bring. Im leaning towards my original Explorer and not my trail Explorer. Sure makes it easier not having to tow out and the camping with just the Explorer is way better as I can get much more remote. I havent had it out to Moab in many years but that would also mean I would be doing scenic trails and nothing hard with it.

I have seen you drive, you could out wheel most folks only using 2wd. With that said define "nothing hard"? I am aiming for nothing body damaging myself, still want to run "hard" trails though, planning to use both locker and all the ground clearance I can get from my 35s on the Bronco.

I really really want to go. I'll talk to the wife and see if I can borrow from the family trip fund. (I think we have one of those... hmmm. lol ) I'm working on a budget and checking on locations. It'd definitely be a primitive camp type set up. The Lil'Eddie just doesn't want to pull the camper since I put the 33s on it along with the heavy bumpers, tools, and spare parts. (Well, he'll pull it but he gets a little hot under the collar). Maybe a set of 4.56 gears will help.

If you research a bunch, you could save a bunch by switching to Gei............ Erm, boondocking in the wild like Brian1 does.

I hope you can make it! I want to see Lil Eddies get on these trails!

Easier trails than say Top of the World and 7 Mile Rim. Basically easy to moderate in the Wells guide book

define a bunch........ is it MORE than 15%? or just 15%? or dare i say... less than 15%??????:p

Just remember, the only finite thing is time. You can always earn/make more money . . .
