yeah, matt, and all who are wathching, er, reading....i have a friend who is (hopefully) going to let me borrow his 2 car carrier. and i am currently looking into a 3/4, but preferably 1 ton ford...anybody know of any good ones? also preferably diesle....going to be my daily driver....

i just found this one, and it would match my explorer...what do you think? eh?

Hey Riff, I'm gonna bring the 4 wheeler mag to Attica. There is an article there about a neat conversion of an F-350 into a trail-monster. You could sure use it since you'll most likely take it off road anyway. I can say that just because I know you a bit. But anyway, that crew monster will be great for your daily driver.

Has anyone checked out what it takes to rent a truck hauler? Like one from U-Haul or someplace like that? I think if I could I would truck my rig out there just so I could play harder.

Ryan, last year I would've said you were silly for wanting to trailer out there, but after driving home at no more then 45 mph due to the damaged rear end, I'd say its not such a bad idea after all. Maybe we can just get a flatbed, and whoever does the most damage gets to drive back on the flatbed?

Heck if the thing was big enough and was a diesel it could pull a trailer and put an Explorer on the flat bed! I guess I will just see. Yeah I was way to nervous to accually really wheel when I was out there last time after seeing all the s*$t that happened to you.

I don't know if this is even a possibility, but I would really like to go in March. I am going to leave the country in April and I wont be back for two years. I would love it if I could have one big moab trip with all of you guys before I leave.

Er, um.....I am going to drive down there. Scott, if you pull two explorers you'll be doing 45-55 mph like Matt. Ever pulled two vehicles on a trailer? Why don't you guys just drive? Pete has his Ko's to run on and you have a set of KO's too. Just because they are lifted doesn't mean you can't drive them a bazillion miles to Texas. Now the age of your trucks might be a factor though. At any rate, if you PULL this thing together(hahaha, a pun) I'll follow you down.

That is, of course, until I get sick of going 55mph.


Hey Scott, do you have a 2 or 3 body lift? I want to get one, but not sure which will have less problems. Did you have to make a mod for the auto shift lever? A couple things are keeping me from getting this lift. So far from what I've have read it's not worth the effort for 2 or even 3". More of a nightmare than it's worth.

for some odd reason, im getting like 7-9 mpg always now! i can't seem to break that 200 gallon mark on a tank...and its driving me nuts!! so thats one of my main reasons of wanting to pull out there...and this 5.5" didn't really do anything for my stability. maybe i did somthing wrong to it..who knows....

matt, i have a 2" body lift with mine...not mods had to be made to the shifter or anything like that....but i do wish i got the 3 so the bumper brackets would work with it. i could have made it work, but i didn't feel like dealing with it, ya know?
