not bad, they are pretty fast. What mods?

welcome to a fast fu*(&^$ing car :)

With just a bit of work/mods you can be pushing 18# and really see what your Mopar is able to do....

My GF had one (just sold it) and now we are looking at STI's but she still wants her SRT-4 back, she loved that sucker....

ive actually been working on neons for many years. Ive built a 1997 ACR with a 2.4 swap and turbo and custom coilover suspension. I looked at the EVO's and STI's, but they are just too much money compared to the price i paid for this. Ill take the extra 12k i saved and put it in mods and kill an STI or an EVO all day long.

The 2.4 srt block can support much more than 18# if tuned right. My plans are at least 20# with a full adjustable coilover suspension, i want low 11's in the quarter mile and over 1g on the skidpad. Then ill take it to the track and have a great time.

kill an STI or EVO all day long unless they are modded, and the Neon cant corner like them, AWD just plains handles better......but I agree with you for sure! I talked her into the STI just based on the AWD and because with dual income now we can afford a used one :)

actually youd be surprised what a neon can do when the suspension is done right. The bad thing about EVO's and STI's are the center diff likes to grenade under hard launches and under too much power. Ive seen it alot both at the drag strip and on the road courses. But yeah ill agree 100% AWD handles like crazy. If they can hold together they are damn tough to keep up with though. Ill take my srt-4 for the 15k i got it for lol.

Why dont you go with an Audi S4? More luxurious, AWD and HUGE power potential. More than the cars mentioned above.

Ya sure you dont want an Evo? My friend has a really nice modded 05 Evo w/ 15k miles for $22.5 up for sale. Well taken care of and not abused. He is buying a house and needs the money or else he wouldnt sell it. PM me for more details.

/hijack off

Your SRT looks good. I dont see too many of those around here for some reason.

Had to take it back today. I got served with divorce papers over the weekend and ill be damned if im gonna have anything she can take half of. The finance company and dealership were very nice and worked with me, and even gave my down payment back. Ill buy one again after the divorce is final.

Wow.. I hope everything goes ok.
